Hong Kong Design Institute
took place from Dec. 14, 2011 to Jan. 13, 2012.
Mascha Mioni exhibited her two art-to-wear dresses Karukareb I und Karukareb II.
Mascha Mioni expresses art through garments. Intellectual analysis and planning are not important to her. She is often guided by coincidences, as for instance in Sotuh Africa, where she was forced to use natural dyes, because upon leaving Switzerland airport security confiscated her 4 gallons of Dupont dyes from the checked baggage.
The colours produced by dyeing with dried redbush tea (Rooibos) reflect Africa. The often bleak landscape, displaying thousands of browns, ochres, beiges and yellows,...
On June 19, 2010 the Senda d'art spel Rein in Trun will be opened again. Sculptures, art installations and figures of more than 60 artists (Matias Spescha, Leo Demund, Ruth Demont, Lawrence McLaughlin, ...) can be enjoyed strolling on this varied Path of Art between sap green trees along the young river Rhine.

he exhibition titled "Transformation: Material - Magic - Memory" stood under the patronage of Prof. Tao Xiao-Ming, Chair Professor and Head Institute of Textiles and Clothing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic Univesity and World President of the Textile Institute and Yoshiko Iwamoto Wada, President, World Shibori Network.
The curators Dr. Kinor Shou-xiang Jiang, Assistant Professor ITC Hong Kong and Yoshiko Wada had invited nine internationally renowned artists/designers from Japan, USA, India, Switzerland and Australia :

They showed more than 30 innovative fashion designs, clothing of the future that will transcend ethnic and gender differences and perhaps break the confines of an establishment called "fashion".

From Dez. 5, 2009 until Jan. 30, 2010 Mascha Mioni and Lawrence McLaughlin show a selection of their artworks at the gallaria d'art RdeC, Disentis/Mustér.
